Lead Gen Campaigns
In late 2018, my director saw success capturing leads by adding a Hubspot "pop-up form" to all pages on our blog sub-domain encouraging readers to sign up for the StreetShares content newsletter. Interested by this, I then began experimenting with capturing leads by utilizing some existing ebook pieces in the pop-up form tool as well. I created a form for each ebook, and embedded them on blog posts that are relevant to the topic of the book. The forms pop up upon exit intent.
Encouraged by the organic success seen in these pop-up forms (71 ebook leads and 102 newsletter leads captured as of January 2019), I expanded the effort onto social media. Using a combination of Facebook's lead gen advertising tool, Hubspot forms, and Zapier, I created a lead gen flow that allows users to complete the entire experience without leaving Facebook. When the lead gen form is filled out on Facebook, Zapier transmits the information to a Hubspot form which is then submitted. This creates a lead in the Hubspot sales backend and enrolls the contact in the appropriate follow-up subscriptions or workflows. These Facebook ads have captured over 450 leads to date.
